I recently finished reading The Hotel Nantucket and in the book, the hotel is trying to achieve “5 keys” which is the highest award a hotel critic has ever given. If I had a 5 keys award to give out, you bet I would give it to The Pendry.
We had the MOST incredible stay up at The Pendry in Park City. It is a brand new hotel located up in the Canyons resort and is a hotel I will be going back to time and time again.
Although I never tried the spa at the Pendry, the food and amenities were beyond incredible and it makes such a good addition to the hotel scene in Utah.
Here are the on-site restaurants we tried!
Dos Olas Cantina
Dos Olas Cantina is their Mexican food option on site. Their food is made fresh, from scratch every single day and the flavors were incredible. Their mole takes DAYS to make!
My favorite things we tried were the beef nachos and the churro ice cream sandwiches. You know me, I’m a sucker for anything cinnamon and the churros did not disappoint.
Après Pendry
Après Pendry is not your ordinary hotel breakfast option. You can order these items to your room for room service or sit in the lobby area with a beautiful view of the mountains ahead.
My favorite thing we tried from Après Pendry was the egg croissant sandwich. The potatoes were incredible as well!
The Pool House
The Pool House is located up on the rooftop of the hotel and has a bar and an amazing food menu! Once again, not your average ANYTHING at Hotel Pendry!
My favorite things we tried from The Pool House were the buffalo cauliflower bites and the green salad. I could’ve stayed at the pool all day with delicious food like that!
Kita Steakhouse
And last, but MOST DEFINITELY not least, is Kita Japanese Steakhouse. This is a restaurant I will be dreaming about until I go back. Seriously! Everything we tried was amazing and I am seriously making a reservation for our anniversary in October.
I wish I could tell you a “favorite thing” but EVERYTHING they brought to our table was truly incredible. I loved the ability to get a delicious steak paired with amazing sushi. We got the New York Strip and the Dynamite Scallop Roll. That’s a combo that’s hard to beat and not something you find in Utah very often.
Be sure to check out Pendry Park City! Either just for a meal or a perfect staycation up in the mountains.
