Where to eat in Bear Lake

We have had a family cabin up in Bear Lake since 1996 and have gone multiple times a year since I was a little girl! I remember back in the day I could walk over to the KOA and put my chips and drink on a “tab” and we’d pay it at the end of the year! Now it’s grown way too much and it’s been pretty amazing to see the growth year after year. Here are the places we like to eat when we go up there! Comment below where you like to go. I will do another Reel when we go up again in August!

Zipz

First up is Zipz! They are located right on the “main” road in Bear Lake and are known to have the “Least Famous Shakes”. We love their menu variety here AND I love that they have a drive-thru! They have a ton of seating and games in the back area. My favorite things to order here are the coconut shrimp and the Dole Whip SWIRL! They combine it with soft serve and it is SO good!

Ruca’s

Another favorite spot of ours is RUCA’s! They serve breakfast and lunch but we normally always go for breakfast. We love aebleskivers and they have INCREDIBLE ones! Try the Nutty Bliss.. it is soo good!

The Chocolate Bear

I cannot go to Bear Lake without a visit to The Chocolate Bear! We love their chocolate covered raspberries! Put them in your fridge or freezer. I always grab a bag on our way out of town too! A Bear Lake MUST!

LaBeau’s

La Beau’s is an absolute classic spot, iconic if you will! They are known as the “most famous raspberry shakes” and a great stop while in Bear Lake! My dad has ordered their pastrami sandwich for years and years and loves it so much. My favorite thing to order here is their raspberry oreo shake!

Summit Pizza Co.

We usually have a big crowd while we are in Bear Lake so sometimes a pizza night is the easiest option. Back in the day we used to ALWAYS eat at Bear Lake Pizza but now it’s been taken over by Summit Pizza Co.! Their cheese bread and cheese doodles are soo good. I normally just eat those and not the pizza I love them so much haha!

Cafe Sabor

Another great option for big crowds is Cafe Sabor! Their enchilada platters are such a perfect option and very affordable as well. We usually do some enchiladas, a side salad, and their rice.
