I always love when new, amazing places come to my neck of the woods! A couple of months ago, Baya Bar and Twisted Sugar came to Highland Drive (right off of 3300 South!) and if you’re an acai lover (or a sugar and soda lover!), you NEED to go check them out.

First up is Twisted Sugar! If you haven’t tried Twisted Sugar yet… what are you waiting for?! I LOVE their Twisted Sugar cookie (squeeze the lime on top!) and the banana cream pie cookie. I promise you’ll be obsessed!

This certain location does not have a drive-thru but you can download the Twisted Sugar app and they can bring your drink and cookies right out of your car. (Parents rejoice! 🙌🏼)

And next up we have Baya Bar! Baya Bar has quite a few locations in New York, one in Las Vegas, and two in Louisiana but this is the first location in Utah! The owners of this franchise searched high and low for the perfect acai to bring to Millcreek and Baya Bar definitely does not disappoint.

I ordered the pitaya smoothie (look at that gorgeous pink color!, and the North Shore coconut bowl (coconut base… it’s amazing!), and the Bella Nutella acai bowl. If you are a coconut fan, you NEED to try the North Shore bowl. It was incredible and I’m already dying to go back to get it!
