We’ve always said that our favorite part of Utah Grubs is meeting the amazing owners behind these Utah businesses and The Local Greek in Riverton is no exception. That Patmides family is the kindest group of people and we are loving the family recipes they are using in their restaurant.

Geoffrey (the owner) remembers his Yia Yia cooking up amazing dishes during his childhood and is replicating them in his first-ever brick & mortar restaurant. The dish above is called Galaktoboureko and is one of the only restaurants in Utah that serves it!

We’ve probably tried a total of 12 dishes at The Local Greek and each dish has truly been incredible. You can tell so much care and thoughtfulness goes into each recipe and The Local Greek has quickly crept up to be our favorite fast-casual Greek spot in Utah.

The dish I definitely want you to try is the Gyro bowl with fries as the base. Tell Geoffrey I sent you and he’ll hook you up the same way!
